The Government has launched a multi-million pound campaign to inform employers and employees alike about the introduction of auto-enrolment.
Adverts will outline the fundamentals of the reforms and will point people to the Directgov website for more information. The campaign will run across a number of media.
Steve Webb, Minister for Pensions, commented: “As we head into the final stretch before millions of people begin to be enrolled into a workplace pension, it is vital that we make sure that individuals and employers know what to expect.”
Auto-enrolment will begin in October 2012, starting with the largest companies first.
